A favorite MSFW tradition is a school-wide Thanksgiving feast. Held on Friday, November 18, the feast provides an opportunity for the entire school to come together. Mark Szabo, husband of Terri Szabo in UE, will cook the turkeys and each level contributes a different side dish to share with the entire school. Meal time is 11:00 am so that the morning only primary students and toddlers can participate. Afternoon only primary students are welcome to come at 10:45 am to join in the fun. Below is a list of what each level plans to contribute to the meal. Some students will bring home a note about what he/she should bring.
Toddlers: a note will come home with your child
Primary: fruit (one piece each or small basket of berries)
Lower Elem: corn souffle (teachers will send home a note with specific items to contribute)
Upper Elem: mashed potatoes (teachers will send home a note with specific items to contribute)
Middle School: pumpkin bread (teachers will send home a note with specific items to contribute)
